That is a question I haven*t heard since I was a youth. I heard it then from individuals who did not want to hear about trivialities, irrelevancies, guesswork or falsehoods. I think they wanted me to think before I would speak. When he matured as a Christian, Vance Havner said about himself as a youth: I not only didn*t know anything, I didn*t even suspect anything. I was like that and still am at times. God gives us many things that we NEED to know for sure. We learn them by receiving Jesus, studying the Bible and committing our lives to Him. We must KNOW ABOUT Him for sure and we must KNOW HIM for sure. The most important things we can know are the things He wants us to know. He wants lost people to know they are lost and He wants His children to know they are His children.
